These horizontal rotary valves are destined for offshore installation and will be used for accurate and continuous dosing of powder chemicals, e.g. Bentonite, for the preparation of drilling fluids (mud).
The HZ valve has an extremely robust construction and is suitable for 24/7 heavy industrial applications. The large inlet with a relatively small rotor volume and the vertical agitator ensure that the valve works with an exact 100% filling degree. It provides a high feeding accuracy at all speeds and the feed rates are controlled by varying the rpm of the feeder (1-100 Hz).
HZ horizontal valves are available in flange sizes DN150-DN700 with rotor volumes up to 100.000 ltr/hr and in various materials and executions.
